Our young musicians pay Centre membership fees directly to Bournemouth & Poole College and these funds cover the hire of our rehearsal rooms, caretaking, College administration and staff salaries, but the responsibility for finding the funding for all the many “extras” needed for the running of this busy music centre, falls to the Centre itself. We are lucky to have a team of past and present members’ parents and friends - known as the Society for Wessex Young Musicians, who are on hand to support the activities of the CWYM - by providing assistance with various fundraising endeavours and by giving practical help, e.g. providing a weekly Centre tuck shop and ‘man power on concert days. Ultimately we depend on successful concert box office sales, corporate and private sponsorship and Centre fundraising to ensure that we can continue to provide the high quality ensemble training and musical experiences that have become synonymous with the title “Wessex Young Musicians”. As a result we have various ‘sponsorship wishes and if you (or any business contacts you may have) feel able to support us, we would be delighted to discuss the possibility with you further.
General Sponsorship:There are also more general ways for individuals, companies, trusts and agencies to get involved with the CWYM and WYO – for further information please see General Sponsorship Opportunities page.

How would your company logo look right here? We are currently looking for corporate sponsorship for our July concerts at Lighthouse, Poole's Centre for the Arts. If the chance to add your company name and logo this page and be able to invite your friends, colleagues and customers to dazzling evenings of youth musical entertainment, perhaps host your own concert interval receptions, or just enjoy a simple “meet and greet” in the Lighthouse bar, appeals to you and your business, then WYO Concert Sponsorship could well be for you! Further information can be found on the Concert Sponsorship Packages page.
